Welcome, Nicki Terrell

Born and raised in Billings, Montana, our new board member Nicki Terrell brings a strong sense of community, work ethic, and connection to the region she proudly calls home. She currently serves as a Branch Manager I, where she oversees branch operations, leads team development, and ensures exceptional service delivery. Her professional experience

has provided her with a solid foundation in leadership, financial oversight, and strategic

planning—skills she is eager to contribute to the Chinook Horse community.

In addition to her professional role, Nicki has been actively involved in volunteer and community service efforts. Her current experience includes serving on the Special K Fundraising Dinner Committee, representing Black Hills Federal Credit Union in the Montana Credit Union Midland Chapter, and acting as a Billings Ambassador for CAT(Community Action Team) at BHFCU. Her time involved with Special K Ranch, in particular, sparked her passion for giving back and inspired her ongoing commitment to supporting others through volunteering her time and efforts.

She is especially passionate about empowering individuals through activities that build confidence, connection, and personal growth. Nicki is a proud mother to her four-year-old daughter, Maizie. Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Nicki enjoys learning to golf, reading, and spending quality time with her family, including their cat, Milo.

While Nicki does not come from a horse background, she is excited by the opportunity to learn and grow within a new space. Her interest in Chinook Horses stems from a desire to challenge herself, expand her knowledge, and support a meaningful andimportant mission. She believes this perspective allows her to bring curiosity, openness, and a fresh lens to the organization.
