Welcome, Rachel Turrito

Chinook Horses welcomes Rachel Turitto to our Board of Directors. Our board members are trusted stewards of Chinook Horses. Their guidance helps keep our organization strong, transparent, and responsive to the needs of our community, so we can continue creating meaningful connections between people and horses.

Rachel serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at First Interstate Bank, where she leads enterprise HR strategy focused on building strong systems, meaningful career paths, and healthy organizational cultures. With more than 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, Rachel brings a thoughtful, people-centered perspective to our board.

A Billings native, Rachel is deeply engaged in our community, serving on the DEI Advisory Board for the Billings Chamber of Commerce and volunteering with Yellowstone County 4-H. She’s also a lifelong horse enthusiast who participates in mounted shooting, omoksees, and endurance riding.

Rachel and her husband Nick are raising two teenage boys who share a love for 4-H and trail riding, making horses a true family connection. We’re so grateful to have Rachel’s leadership, insight, and passion for horses guiding Chinook Horses forward.
